Planning ahead is always a good thing. Especially for Tahoe where summer months are the most popular and close-to-lake locations are hard to come by.  Black Bear Lodge Tahoe is situated on a big sunny meadow, close to the Upper Truckee River, a 10 minute drive to the Lake. If hiking is your thing, trails are less than a half hour. The bike path that circles the lake is 10 minutes away. Shopping is super close too.

To sum it up, yes, we’ve got the best location. If you choose not to drive, the bus is a 5 minute walk.
