There’s only one Big Blue. Come see this spectacular place. You’re invited! Black Bear Lodge Tahoe has THE location for all the fun things to do and see.

The Quiet Season

Although we’ve had a few small snowfalls, it’s still sunny and warm in the meadow. Walks to Trout Creek or bike rides to Tahoe Keyes are perfect ways to ease into the holidays. Take a break from work or stay connected and telecommute using Black Bear’s fast Wi-Fi. Call Bob, our manager, and find out about our current low season rates: 530-388-5253.

Talking Turkey at Black Bear Lodge

Stay and play Thanksgiving weekend at Tahoe. Opening day for most ski resorts is projected to be November 24. Cook your holiday meal in our fully equipped kitchen, or splurge at Harrah’s, Mont Bleu or the Horizon casino buffets.

Should the snow not arrive, substitute your skis with bikes and take to the nearby trail that goes for miles. Head to Richardson’s Bay, Pope Beach, Fallen Leaf Lake or take a spin in the opposite direction to Reagan’s Beach. Directions in the Alpine Sierra Trailblazer guidebook.

Check our VRBO calendar for availability.
